Tell us about yourself, what’s your story?
My journey with spirituality began already when I was a child. My grandmother was a clairvoyant medium, and when I visited her during summer, she taught me everything she knew about crystals, meditation, healing and the tarot, amongst other spiritual topics.
Since 2013, I have sat in a Psychic Development Circle run by my spiritual teacher Ines Nicholson. She has been working in the space for over 40 years.
She was initially meant to set up Esoteric Studies Institute with her late husband Owen, who was an incredible clairvoyant medium too. That never materialised for different reasons. For the last six months or so, I have been talking with Ines about ESI setting up, and I have been running that full-time for about three months.
ESI is primarily a place of learning. We will use this platform to share the teachings that Ines and Owen have received from their guides for the last 40+ years and that I’m currently receiving. We also offer one-to-one services such as Psychic Tarot Reading, Spiritual Healing and Spiritual Mentoring.
As you can see, spirituality has been a part of my life since childhood, and I have been actively taking clients on the side for about five years whilst having a part-time corporate job. This is what I now do full-time.

What do you find most rewarding about what you do?
I love helping other people thrive and gain a new perspective on their life. Often, so much comes down to our attitude of mind; if we can shift that, so much can happen. Meditation, Spiritual Healing, and connecting with our guides can undoubtedly help us do that.
Do you have any daily rituals?
I meditate for about 20-minutes every morning and evening. I also journal, but that practice is not as disciplined.
You recently held a crystal meditation session with us, do you have a favourite crystal?
Can I say all of them? I think I’m very drawn to Citrine at the moment, but I also love amethyst, clear and smokey quartz.
Any tips on how to get into crystals and their magical powers?
Any serious work that anyone ventures to do in the spiritual space has to be coupled with meditation, so I’d say always start there.
We must learn to calm our physical mind to strengthen our psychic mind, which we do with meditation.
If you could channel the energy when you walked into The Italian Building, what would it be?
I think you have cultivated an energy at the Italian building which is very welcoming, open and supportive.
A favourite quote which sums up your practise?
Everything is temporary, and everything comes to an end.
How do you keep your spirit level?
I think meditation is what keeps my mind levelled and at peace. From my meditation practice, I have also gained a sense of acceptance for life in all its forms, which I think is vital for well-being.
And finally, do you believe in magic?
I think I might lose a few friends over this, but I would not say I believe in magic per se.
Some would say what I do during a healing and psychic reading session is magical. Yet, I do not believe in spells, fairies, unicorns and such. I think my approach to spirituality is incredibly grounded and practical.
At the same time, I could be absolutely wrong, and perhaps I’m the one who is missing out.
