About this event
Join artist and educator Gail Astbury for a guided walking tour exploring the vibrant world of public art along the canal path from M&F to Paddington Basin.
From bold contemporary sculptures to tucked-away murals and community installations, this walk uncovers the creative heartbeat of West London’s waterways — where art meets architecture, and the city tells its story in colour and form.
Gail, a painter and curator with an eye for how art shapes public space, will share insights into the artists, materials, and ideas behind each piece, alongside reflections on how public art transforms the everyday into the extraordinary.
Expect fresh air, lively conversation, and a new way of seeing the familiar. Bring comfortable shoes, an open mind, and perhaps a notebook for any sparks of inspiration along the way. Tally ho!
