Reggae University Presents
DJ Target in conversation with Jacqueline Springer
About this event
Reggae University turns its focus to UK sound system lineage and modern music history, with a special in-conversation session led by DJ Target, joined by Victoria & Albert Museum curator, broadcaster music journalist and TV researcher JacquelineSpringer.
This is a journey through basslines and broadcasts — tracing Target’s path through jungle, garage, grime and rap, and the wider story of UK music as lived, played and passed on. Expect conversation woven with records: formative tunes, scene-defining moments, and the tracks that shaped a generation of sound.
Part talk, part listening session, this is about context as much as culture — how music travels, mutates, and carries memory. Pull up a chair, tune your ears, and settle in for an evening where stories and selections move side by side.
