DJ on Oroko Radio, producer and art director, Rare Treat is a rare treat, bringing the future of eclectic beats from the diaspora and beyond. From jazz to jungle, she raises vibrations, explores the depths of Afro-electronica and changes the narrative.

A DJ with a passion for infectious grooves, Alena Arpels fuses disco, boogie, funk and house for an unforgettable experience. Playing worldwide and sharing stages with the likes of Bill Brewster, Nancy Noise, Norman Jay and more, Alena is a brilliant party DJ known for her love of rare and long forgotten records. Her taste caught the attention of Dave Lee who invited her to curate the ninth edition of his cult Under the Influence compilation series.
