About the pop up
For two weeks, Central Saint Martins: Makers Camp – The West African Project takes over Mason & Fifth with a vibrant retail space celebrating heritage, collaboration and contemporary craft.
Bringing together MA Fashion students from Central Saint Martins, visiting designers from West Africa, and UK-based material makers in residence, the Camp is a living studio of exchange — where skills, stories and traditions meet new design thinking. Throughout the residency, our makers will be selling beautifully crafted pieces spanning fashion, textiles and hand-made objects, each rooted in the rich craft histories of the UK and West Africa.
Expect limited-edition Heritage Craft slogan T-shirts printed by MA Fashion @CSM, alongside exclusive works created during the Camp itself — unique pieces born from cross-cultural collaboration.
This is more than a shop: it’s a celebration of making, material knowledge, and shared creative futures. Join us to discover, support and wear the story of heritage craft reimagined.
