About the event

Spend a Friday afternoon stitching, chatting, and creating with textile artist Natasha Shah as we work together over eight weeks to make a collaborative community quilt. During the sessions, you’ll learn how to appliqué and contribute a piece (or two, and hopefully more!) to a communal artwork that is a celebration of the community, the surrounding area and of our shared experience.
Make something ~ Get creative and learn a new skill.
Make time ~ Take a break and enjoy being in the present moment.
Make connections ~ Meet other people from your community.
Make it last ~ Contribute towards a communal piece of art.
•⁠  ⁠If you have any spare cotton fabrics or old cotton shirts to donate, bring them along – the more stories in the fabric, the better.
•⁠  ⁠Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
