About the event

En Passant is chess without the hush — sharp minds, clinking glasses and moves made in good company.

Hosted with James from Chess in Schools, this relaxed chess club takes over the bar for early-evening play that welcomes grand plans and beginner blunders alike. Multiple boards are in motion throughout the space, open to both competitive match-ups and casual games, with room to watch, learn, and jump in when the moment feels right.

Come to play seriously, play socially or just linger over a game in progress. Strategy meets atmosphere. Checkmate optional.
