About this event

“I believe listening to music on vinyl is a holistic practice, at least that’s what my body tells me.” – Shadé Joseph.
Shadé Joseph is a multi-creative artist from East London whose work aims to immerse people in self-discovery, imagination, and empathy through music, literature, and audio storytelling.
As part of her artist residency at Mason & Fifth on record culture, she will highlight albums she is curious to explore and invite you to join her if you want to take a moment to be fully present, have a reflective conversation, and return back to the rest of your day with energy that will hopefully carry you through.
This week, she chooses Sade’s – Love Is Stronger Than Pride. “There’s no one who reaches me like Sade does, and for some reason, this album is calling me to listen again after being years removed from what I thought I was certain to understand about love.”
