About the event
Jawdance, the grande dame of London spoken word, wings her way westward. Brought to you by poetry pioneers Apples and Snakes, this legendary night packs a punch as award-winning Nigerian British writer Yomi Sode takes the mic as host, with electric performances from Francis-Xavier Mukiibi and Deanna Rodger.
As always, the beloved Open Mic Lucky Dip will be in full effect – if you’re feeling brave, throw your name in the hat on arrival and step into the spotlight. Jawdance is a supportive space for voices of all kinds – first time or fiftieth, you’re welcome here.
