About the event
Words on Wax is a quarterly gathering of poetry, sound and soul — inviting poets and writers who’ve pressed their words to vinyl to share their records, their rhythms and the stories behind the grooves.
Hosted by the incredible Repeat Beat Poet, each session is a deep-listening experience — part performance, part conversation — creating space for reflection, connection and the music between words.
This edition welcomes Nadeem Din-Gabisi [Moshi Moshi] a London-born audio-visual artist and poet of Sierra Leonean descent. His multi-faceted practice is rooted in survival — telling stories that move between the deeply personal and the quietly universal. Through sound, image, and language, his work documents the presence of the African diaspora while complicating and expanding the narratives around it.
