About this event

Little Lagos Kollective (LLK) continues its monthly African Dance Music series at Mason & Fifth — a space where music, culture, conversation, and community move together. 

This special edition features a live broadcast with One Thabs, the launch of the LLK Remix Competition, and an aftershow set from guest DJ Kwarmzy. 

A UK–Nigeria-rooted collective, LLK explores ADM (African Dance Music) — a 21st-century evolution of Afrofuturism, bridging heritage and innovation across generations of Black electronic music. 

From Sun Ra and George Clinton through to Detroit techno, UK jungle, Blacktronica, and contemporary Afrobeats, the lineage is one of imagination, liberation, and movement. Today, African culture — in sound, style, and expression — sits at the centre of global youth culture. 

More than a series, this is a living archive of African and diaspora sound — building momentum, and a reason to return.
