Esther Durin’s listening session, hosted by INTIMACY SOUND, offers an intimate first 

listen to her new three-track EP, Prayers & Blues. 

The evening will centre around a curated listening of Prayers & Blues, giving guests the 

opportunity to experience the project in an intimate setting alongside Esther. The listening 

will be followed by a conversation exploring the stories behind the music, her creative 

process and her journey of faith, before closing with an intimate live performance. 

Blending R&B, soul, blues and 80s Gospel influences, Prayers & Blues explores themes of 

faith, freedom, prayer and Esther’s journey with Christ. Across three tracks, the project 

reflects on navigating difficult seasons, finding trust and surrender, and discovering a deeper 

understanding of God, featuring production from Franco. and Nigerian Gospel artist Neon 

Adejo. 

The event is hosted by INTIMACY SOUND’s Listening Sessions, a curated format created 

to bring artists and audiences closer together through music, conversation and live 

performance, creating a more personal experience around the stories and creative process 

behind an artist’s work.
