About this event

Reggae University hosts an intimate evening of storytelling, memory and cultural exchange with Jan Blake in conversation with Harris Elliott.
A master of Caribbean oral tradition, Jan Blake’s work spans Jamaican folklore, migration stories and the power of voice as cultural preservation.
Harris Elliott, a visual alchemist who blurs the boundaries between culture and art, Jamaican narratives are often at the core of his creative output.
Together, Blake and Elliott explore how stories travel — through performance, style, identity and lived experience — and how heritage is carried, worn and retold across generations.
Expect warmth, insight and a conversation that moves fluidly between storytelling, culture and creative expression. An evening rooted in listening, legacy and shared history.
