About the event

Creative Lives in Progress’s next THRIVE event is an evening about the distance between how a creative life appears and how it is actually lived.
In Beyond the Menu: Building Sustainable Creative Careers, Creative Lives in Progress invites Savannah Hanson and Django Degree into the Listening Lounge to share reflections on how careers take shape, what they ask of us, and what allows people to keep going.
Together, we’ll explore the idea of the menu and the meal: the difference between what the industry presents as success in titles, clients, momentum, recognition and the deeper forms of nourishment that allow creatives to grow over time, such as support, clarity, psychological safety, and community.
Across different paths from global agencies to independent practice Savannah and Django bring lived perspectives shaped by ambition, reinvention and responsibility to those coming next.
This is a space to listen, reflect, and leave with a deeper understanding of what creative longevity might require from all of us.
