About the event

Where the needle drops, the words rise. Words on Wax is a monthly gathering of poetry, sound, and soul – a listening salon where stories spin at 33⅓ rpm. Hosted by DJ and microphone maestro, The Repeat Beat Poet (Soho Radio, The Boat Pod, Pen-Ting Poetry), come settle into the intimate environs of The Listening Lounge for a deep dive into spoken word and sound.
This edition features special guest Chris Redmond, poet, musician, and founder of the renowned spoken-word and music collective Tongue Fu, guiding us through his chosen music before opening into shared listening and salon-style conversation. Come for the poems, stay for the crackle.
